Meet the Team

Bob Colston

Bob has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.  He began his career working for a large, international financial firm in 1997. Not interested in being a transaction based agent/broker, Bob wanted to provide a far better experience for his clients. He made the decision to become an independent advisor and founded Colston Financial Group in 2006.

Bob and his wife, Diane live in Clio, Michigan and are blessed to have six children, three grandchildren, and two dogs.  During his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, working in the woods, and most importantly spending time with his family and friends.

Caitlyn Jaskiewicz

Caitlyn graduated from Northwood University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Business Management and a minor in Finance.  Caitlyn joined the team at Colston Financial Group in May of 2015. She is the office manager and bookkeeper.

Caitlyn and her husband Travis, live in Bay City, Michigan. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, weekends up North, and having fun with family and friends.

Kathryn Scharich 

Kathryn recently joined the team at Colston Financial Group in March of 2020. She has 20 years of experience as an Instructional Assistant for Saginaw Township Schools, where she has built a great amount of communicative skills and a strong work ethic. Kathryn will be a true asset as an administrative assistant for the office and our clients. 

Kathryn and her husband Lee live in Saginaw, Michigan and have two sons. During her spare time, she enjoys walking the numerous trails in the Upper Peninsula, golfing and all sports with family and friends.
